My paper will be focusing on the book City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, which is in the series called the Immortal Instruments. I will focus on why this book could be a challenged book in the future, in comparison to other banned books. I will also include a research about the reasons why people ban books, and the religious reason why books are banned. I will also talk about how people will review my book, and also what critics think about the book; whether in a positive reaction or negative. I will summarize City of Bones by focusing on the two strongest literary elements in the book, conflict and setting. I will focus on the difference between how the book would be viewed in the past, and how it will be viewed today.
